The ruins are spread across a wide area, so many visitors split their time between the temples and the river, and the hotel's river views fit that rhythm well. Many of the sites can be reached on foot or by bicycle.

Wat Phanan Choeng Worawihan, one of the best-known temples in town, is 200 m from the hotel and is known for its large seated Buddha image. Wat Mahathat, 1.8 km away, is famous for a Buddha head set among the roots of a tree, and Wat Phra Sri Sanphet, 2.5 km away, is a former royal temple with three large chedis.
