For a day out, start with the temples and markets of the town, then travel to Wat Chalong or Patong Beach by road. Phuket International Airport is 28.3 km from the hostel, and the trip from there runs by road across the island. The Talad Kaset market and the Phuket Trickeye Museum are both close to the hostel, so the morning can start on the town streets.
