Rinna Resort

All the rooms at Rinna Resort have air conditioning, and they measure between 28 and 40 m². Capacities run from two to five guests, and several rooms have a sea view, among them the Superior Triple Room with Sea View and the Deluxe Triple Room with Sea View.

Rooms can also have a hair dryer, toiletries, towels and a flat-screen TV, while complimentary tea and instant coffee are offered in some rooms. Several rooms also have an electric kettle and a shower in the private bathroom, and each room has its own bathroom. Air conditioning runs in every room, against the tropical heat of the island.

Rinna Resort has free Wi-Fi in all rooms and in public areas, a 24-hour front desk, room service, restaurants and a coffee shop, with food delivery also available. Tours, hiking and ticket services are offered, and there is an airport transfer.

For younger guests there are a playground, a crib or baby cot, and children's books and toys. Daily housekeeping, laundry and ironing services, luggage storage, safety deposit boxes, lockers and concierge help are also available on the property.

Parking is available on site, with valet parking, and the resort has a garden. Air conditioning is in the public areas as well, and ceiling or portable fans are available too.

Rinna Resort sits on an island off the coast of Trang in southern Thailand, a stretch of coast where fishing villages and bays lie close together. The island is reached by boat from the mainland, so the crossing is part of the trip, and the surroundings are mainly villages, bays and open sea rather than towns. Trang province has a long coastline with islands, beaches and caves, and many of the trips from the island go out over the water.

Ban Koh Muk village is 400 m away, Ao Kham bay is 500 m away and the Ko Muk ferry terminal lies 750 m away, so the village and the bay are the nearest places to walk to. For longer journeys, Trang Airport is 37.5 km away and Krabi International Airport is 87.8 km away, and the resort offers an airport transfer. Boats are the link for anything beyond the island, so the ferry terminal matters for day trips.

Day trips from the island include Emerald Cave, a sea cave reached by boat, and Had Chao Mai National Park, where there is a campsite for anyone who wants to stay overnight by the coast. Snorkelling spots and Pawapi Beach are also close to the island's shore, so a day on the water can be built around the cave, the park and the beaches. Back on the island, the beaches and villages make a setting for simple walks along the coast.
