Visitors come mainly for the quiet, the sea and the caves, and snorkelling and diving are the main reasons to spend time on the water.

Within a short walk are Ao Kham, a bay 500 m away, and Ban Koh Muk, the island's village. Ko Muk Beach and Pawapi Beach are also on the island, and Emerald Cave, a sea cave with green water reached by boat, lies 2.2 km away.

A good day here is a boat trip to the caves and snorkelling sites, then an evening back at the property with a book from the library or by the fireplace. The island's bays and beaches are spread along its coast, so a day out can take in more than one of them, whether on foot or by boat. Trang Airport is 37.6 km away on the mainland. During the rainy months the sea can be rough, and boat trips may not run.
