Location & what to see
Rin Beach Resort is in Haad Rin, the beach village on the Gulf of Thailand coast of Ko Pha-ngan, and the village is best known for its nightlife as well as its beach. It is lively in the evenings, with bars and music along the streets after dark, and the nightlife is close to the beach itself.
Many of the places nearby are close enough to walk to. The Luang Pu Thuat Shrine, a local shrine, is 150 m from the resort, and Ban Haad Rin village is 200 m away. Haad Rin Nok beach is also nearby, and the Haad Rin Viewpoint is a lookout over the bay. Haad Yuan, another beach further along the coast, is 2.2 km away. Samui Airport is about 14 km away across the water on Ko Samui, so reaching Ko Pha-ngan involves a boat.
A day here can start with a swim at Haad Rin Nok, then a walk to the Haad Rin Viewpoint for the views over the bay, followed by a visit to the Luang Pu Thuat Shrine. On the night of each full moon, the Full Moon Party takes over the beach a few hundred metres from the resort, and the music carries on late.
