Rider Resort

Rooms at Rider Resort include a room of 22 m² with a double bed, another of 22 m² with two single beds, and rooms that sleep up to three guests. Some rooms overlook the garden, and some have a bathtub as well as a shower. Extra beds depend on the room you choose, and an extra bed carries an additional charge.

Rooms can have air conditioning, a desk, a minibar, a refrigerator and free bottled water. Rooms also have a TV with satellite and cable channels. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, so guests can stay connected from the room.

Rider Resort has an outdoor swimming pool and a children's swimming pool, along with a garden. Massage treatments are offered on site, and the nightclub is also on the property. The poolside bar sits by the pool, and the garden offers a quieter place for a stroll.

Food and drink are covered by restaurants, a bar, a poolside bar and 24-hour room service. Business facilities, a concierge and a laundry service are also available, and the elevator serves the building.

Parking is available on site, and a golf course lies within 3 km of the resort. The resort is family and child friendly. The garden, the outdoor pool and the children's pool are the resort's main outdoor spaces.

Rider Resort is in the Bang Na area of eastern Bangkok, on a soi off Srinakarin Road, where the streets are lined with local shops and markets rather than sightseeing crowds. It is a quieter base for travellers who want to stay away from the old city and its temples, and who still want easy access to the airport and the MRT. Daily life on the streets here is more local than in the old city.

The Srinagarindra 38 MRT Station is about 700 m from the resort, giving access to the wider city by rail. Suan Luang Rama IX, 1.7 km away, is a large public park with gardens and walking paths, and the Train Night Market Srinakarin is close by. Suvarnabhumi Airport is 10.6 km away, the closer of Bangkok's two main airports.

A day could start with a walk through Suan Luang Rama IX, then head into the city to Chatuchak Weekend Market, one of Bangkok's largest weekend markets, or to Jim Thompson House, a museum of traditional Thai-style houses. In the evening, the Train Night Market is a short walk from the resort, and the Grand Palace, 18.3 km away in the old city, is best saved for a day of its own.
