Richmond Guesthouse

The rooms at Richmond Guesthouse go from 16 m² doubles and twins to a 100 m² family suite and a deluxe family room for four people. Twin rooms have two single beds and the double rooms have a double bed. The Deluxe Family Suite sleeps up to four guests with a bunk bed, a queen bed and a sofa bed. Some rooms have a city view, and the Deluxe Family Room for 4 People sleeps up to four guests with a choice of bed set-ups.

Richmond Guesthouse is in Haad Rin, the village at the southern end of Ko Pha-ngan that is best known for its nightlife. The streets behind the sand are lined with bars, dive shops and guesthouses, and the two beaches, Haad Rin Nok and Haad Rin Nai, sit along the same bay. The village is lively in the evenings, and the beach parties attract visitors from across the island.

Haad Rin Nok beach is 500 m from the hotel, and the Haad Rin Queen ferry pier is 200 m away, the departure point for boats to the neighbouring islands. The Full Moon Party area lies 450 m away, and it is where the island's famous beach party takes place when the moon is full. Ko Pha-ngan has no airport of its own, so the nearest is Samui Airport on Ko Samui, 14.1 km away and reached by boat.

For a quieter day, Thong Nai Pan Yai Beach, 10.4 km away on the other side of the island, is one of the best-known beaches on Ko Pha-ngan. Boats to and from the neighbouring islands can be disrupted when the sea is rough, particularly in the monsoon months. The beaches around Haad Rin are good for an unhurried morning before the village wakes up.
