Rooms at Rawai whale Resort include a 20 m² Standard Room and a 20 m² King Studio, and several rooms overlook the garden. Rooms can have individual air conditioning, kitchenware, a microwave and a refrigerator, and the King Studio has its own private bathroom with a walk-in shower.

The Standard Room sleeps two guests, and the rooms with a garden view sleep up to three. Extra beds depend on the room, and an extra bed carries an additional charge.

The village has a relaxed pace and plenty of small-scale fishing life along the shore.

Within walking distance you will find the Rawai fish market, Rawai Pier, the village's ferry pier, and the Phuket Seashell Museum. Nai Harn Beach lies 2.2 km away, with Wat Nai Harn pagoda nearby, and the Big Buddha Phuket, the large seated statue on the Nakkerd Hills, is 6 km away. Wat Chalong, one of the island's most important temples, can also be reached by car.

Patong Beach, the island's main nightlife area, is 12.9 km away, and Phuket International Airport is 37.4 km away, so most of the island is reached by road. Phuket is linked to the mainland by a bridge, so the rest of Thailand is also reached by road. A day could start with a walk to the fish market, continue to the Big Buddha on the hills and end with an evening in Patong.
