Railay is a limestone peninsula in Krabi province, known for its sheer cliffs, its beaches and its rock-climbing walls, and it is reached by boat rather than by road. Railay Beach, the peninsula's main beach, is 600 m from the resort, and the limestone cliffs nearby are popular with rock climbers.
