Every villa at Private Pool Residences has air conditioning. Floor areas run from 60 to 80 m², and capacity ranges from two to four guests, with a choice of bed set-ups in some villas. Each villa has a television, and both 80 m² villas have two bedrooms.

Mountain views come from two of the villas, and one has its own private pool, a full kitchen and a private entrance. The property also offers massage, room service and a shuttle service, and free Wi-Fi covers all rooms. Guests share the outdoor swimming pool and the garden, which are open to everyone staying at the property.

Private Pool Residences sits in Ban Tai, a village on Ko Pha-ngan in the Gulf of Thailand. The island is reached by boat from Ko Samui, so the last part of the journey is always by water. The setting is village life, with a few temples, a night market and a beach within about a kilometre. The property has an outdoor swimming pool and a garden of its own, so a good part of the stay can happen on site.

Wat Nai pagoda is 200 m away, and Haad Baan Tai beach is 1 km from the property. Haad Baan Kai beach is also close by, a little further along the coast. Phaeng Noi waterfall and the Phangan Elephant Sanctuary are both 3.3 km away. Ko Pha-ngan is best known for its full moon parties, which are held at Haad Rin on the southern tip of the island, well away from Ban Tai.

Samui Airport is 18.1 km away, and the boat from Ko Samui is the final leg of the trip. A morning at Phaeng Noi waterfall and an afternoon on Haad Baan Tai beach make a relaxed day, with the night market in the evening. Pagoda visits fit easily around a day on the beach, and there is a health centre and a pharmacy nearby.
