Kalim Beach lies along the same coastline, and Phuket FantaSea, the theme park with evening shows, is further inland. Chaithararam Temple (Wat Chalong) is 7 km away and is one of the island's best-known sites. Patong Hospital and the night market are also nearby, for practical errands as well as evening shopping.
