Long Beach, 1.6 km off, is a sandy beach popular for swimming, and Monkey Beach, 2 km away, is known for the macaques that live along its shore. Phi Phi Market is also close to the hotel, in the village.

A good first outing is the walk up to the viewpoint, followed by an afternoon swimming at Long Beach. Boats from the village can take you to other bays and beaches on the island, and the pool at the hotel makes a quiet break between trips.
