Outrigger Phi Phi Island Resort

Outrigger Phi Phi Island Resort offers garden suites and villas as well as beachfront rooms, some overlooking the garden and others the ocean. Sizes and layouts vary: a Superior Garden room of 36 m² has two single beds, and the Beachfront Pool Villa of 60 m² sleeps up to four guests.

Several rooms have a private bathroom with a walk-in shower, a hair dryer and an electric kettle, and free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms. Both garden-view and ocean-view rooms have a private bathroom, and the rooms overlook either the gardens or the sea.

The resort has an outdoor swimming pool and a children's swimming pool, a fitness center, a yoga room and a spa with massage, body scrubs, body wraps, a foot bath and a sauna. A salon is also on site.

Laem Tong is a beach area on Ko Phi Phi, the main inhabited island of the Phi Phi group in Krabi province. It has a quieter feel than the busier village of Ton Sai, and the bay suits a slow start to the day with a swim and a stroll along the sand. Most daily life here revolves around the beach and the boats, rather than around nightlife.

Laemtong Pier is 300 m from the resort, and it is the place to catch boats for trips around the island group. Laem Tong Beach, 50 m away, is the closest swimming spot. Ton Sai Bay, at 4.8 km, is where the village's shops, restaurants and long-tail boats gather, and Koh Phai (Bamboo Island), 5.6 km away, is a small island reached by boat for swimming and snorkelling. Viking Cave, 9.8 km away, is a limestone cave on the cliffs, also reached by boat.

A day could begin with a swim at Laem Tong Beach, followed by a boat trip to Koh Phai (Bamboo Island) for snorkelling. The nearest airport is Krabi International Airport on the mainland, so the last stretch of the journey is by boat. In the rainy months the sea can be rougher, which can affect boat trips to the nearby islands.
