Pottery Street House

The rooms at Pottery Street House all have a garden view, a bathtub, air conditioning and a private bathroom. Each room has a flat-screen TV, an electric kettle, a hair dryer and toiletries, and both a bathtub and a shower.

The rooms measure between 25 and 48 m² and take up to seven guests. The family suite measures 48 m² and has two queen beds. Whatever the room, you get the garden view, the bathtub and the private bathroom. Air conditioning is in every room too, and toiletries and towels are provided in each one, so the basics stay the same whichever room you choose.

Luggage storage, daily housekeeping and a laundry service are available, and so are express check-in and check-out, as well as private check-in and check-out. Tours can be arranged, and there are bicycles, an airport transfer and a shuttle service.

Pottery Street House sits in the Historical Park area of Sukhothai, the old capital of the Sukhothai kingdom in central Thailand. The ruins of the old kingdom are a UNESCO World Heritage site, and the guesthouse is close to the temples that give the town its character. Sukhothai's old temples are spread across a large archaeological park, so the sights are better explored one after another than in a single visit.

Sukhothai Historical Park is 650 m away and Wat Maha That is 600 m, a temple known for its Buddha head set in the roots of a tree. Wat Chang Lom, 1.2 km away, has a chedi supported by carved elephants, and Wat Sri Chum, 2.1 km away, houses a large seated Buddha statue. Wat Sri Sawai and Wat Sa Si are also close by, and the Ramkhamhaeng National Museum is nearby. Muang Kao Market is also near the property.

A good day could start with the ruins at Wat Maha That, continue to the Ramkhamhaeng National Museum, and end at the Saturday Night Market in the old town. Bicycles are a practical way to cover the wider ruins, which spread across the park. Sukhothai Airport is 26.9 km away, and the last stretch from there is by road.
