The two sights are close enough to visit on the same walk, and the Ranong Municipal Fresh Market suits an early morning visit.

Ranong Airport is 21.7 km from the hotel, and the town is small enough that most of its sights can be reached on foot or by a short ride. A good day could start at the City Pillar Shrine, continue to the Throne Hall and end at the night food market, with the hot springs in between. The Pak Nam ferry terminal, about 5 km from the hotel, is the departure point for boats to the islands off the coast, so day trips by sea start there.
