Sook Hotel

The rooms at Sook Hotel are twin rooms, a double room, a king room and family rooms. The twin rooms measure 23 to 25 m², and the family rooms measure 58 m². Some rooms look onto the pool, and one twin room looks onto the garden.

Most room types have a private bathroom with bathrobes and a hair dryer. The town is a practical base for exploring Ranong province, with its markets, pagodas and hot springs nearby. Its streets are lined with local shops and food stalls, and the daily life of the town centres on the markets.

Close by are the Rattana Rangsarn Throne Hall, about 400 m away, and the San Chao Hok Tek Su pagoda, about 500 m away. The Ranong Municipal Fresh Market is about 550 m from the hotel, and the night food market, where food stalls open in the evening, is about 850 m away. A church, San Chao Hai Lam, is about 550 m from the hotel as well, so the centre has several places of worship within a small area.

For a day out of town, the Raksa Warin hot springs and arboretum are a good choice. The ferry piers at Pak Nam lie outside the centre and serve boats to the islands off this coast. In the evening, the night food market is a simple place to eat before returning to the hotel. The temple, the markets and the palace hall are all in the same part of town, so the centre is easy to explore on foot.
