Plaa's Thansadet Resort

The rooms at Plaa's Thansadet Resort are bungalows and rooms with a private bathroom and shower, along with an electric kettle, a hair dryer, towels, toiletries and free bottled water. Sizes range from 22 m² to 56 m², and the beds are double or queen.

The resort's rooms and bungalows are a short walk from the beach at Than Sadet, which is 100 m away, and the Than Sadet waterfall is close to the resort as well.

The waterfalls are the natural draw of the area. The Namtok Than Sadet National Park, 1.8 km away, covers the waterfalls and forest of this part of the island, and the Deang waterfall is close by too. Haad Than Sadet, a second beach, lies near the resort, while Thong Nai Pan Yai Beach, 2.4 km away, is a different beach for a change of scene. Ko Pha-ngan has no airport of its own: the nearest is Samui Airport (USM), 22.6 km away on the neighbouring island of Ko Samui, and the last part of the journey is by boat. Surat Thani Airport (URT), 123.1 km away on the mainland, is further still.

A morning at the Than Sadet waterfall and an afternoon on the beach make a simple day in the area. Boat crossings can be rougher in the rainy months, so it is worth leaving some room in your plans for trips to other islands.
