Pinnacle Samui Resort

Rooms at Pinnacle Samui Resort are bungalows, hotel rooms and family rooms set in the resort grounds, several of them with a garden view. The family rooms sleep up to three or four guests and combine a king or queen bed with a single bed, and some rooms have air conditioning.

Some bungalows can be set up with a choice of bed arrangements. Certain rooms add an in-room safe box, on-demand movies or satellite and cable channels, and the Deluxe Bungalow includes complimentary access to the spa. Each room is described below with its own size, the number of guests it sleeps and the equipment it has.

The grounds at Pinnacle Samui Resort include an outdoor and an indoor swimming pool, a garden and a terrace, and a spa with sauna, massage and body scrub treatments. There is a private beach, and a golf course is on site, while the garden and terrace give space to sit outdoors.

Eating and drinking are covered by a restaurant, a bar, a coffee shop and room service, with buffet and continental breakfast on the menu. Tours, car hire and an airport transfer can be arranged, and the 24-hour front desk is open around the clock.

Families are catered for with a family room, a playground and a babysitting service, and a shuttle service and currency exchange are also offered.

Mae Nam is a quiet village on the coast of Koh Samui, slower-paced than the island's busier beach areas, with temples and a morning market close by. Visitors come here for a slower beach holiday, with the sea and the resort's own private beach close at hand, and the village has a character of its own that is easy to enjoy over several days.

Wat Na Phra Lan, a temple 450 m away, and the Mae Nam Morning Market, 1.2 km from the resort, are the nearest sights. Maenam Beach lies 2.7 km away, and the Big Buddha temple, with its large Buddha statue, is 8.8 km away on the island. Fisherman's Village in Bophut, a waterfront area with shops and restaurants, is also worth a visit, and Na Muang Waterfall lies further inland.

The Mae Nam Pier, 350 m from the resort, is where ferries to other islands leave, so the sea is close for anyone planning a trip beyond Koh Samui. A full day can combine the morning market, a swim at Maenam Beach and a visit to the Big Buddha in the afternoon, with Na Muang Waterfall as a stop inland. Samui Airport, on the island itself, is the nearest airport for arrivals from outside Koh Samui.
