Pingchan Koh Phangan Beachfront Resort

The villas at Pingchan Koh Phangan Beachfront Resort range from 32 m² to 82 m², and their sleeping capacity runs from two guests to six. Several of them stand on the first row of the sand, while others sit on the second and third rows behind.

Views vary by villa: some face the ocean, one has a beach view and another has a partial sea view. Bed set-ups include king beds and single beds, and the larger family villas have two bedrooms.

The resort has an outdoor swimming pool and an indoor swimming pool, plus a private beach, a garden and a terrace. Diving, fishing, snorkelling, massage and tours are also offered.

Thong Nai Pan Yai is a bay on the coast of Ko Pha-ngan, and the beach is 50 m from the resort, with villas set in rows along the sand. The villas on the first row are closest to the water, while those on the second and third rows sit back from the beach. Hills rise behind the bay, and the village behind the beach is small, with a few restaurants and shops along the road. It suits guests who want a slower pace on the island.

Wat Thong Nai Pan, a pagoda, stands in the bay area, and the Than Prawet waterfall is 850 m from the resort in the hills behind. Ao Thong Nai Pan Noi beach lies on the neighbouring bay, while the peak of Khao Lat Mai Kaeo is 1.3 km away. Hat Khuat, known as Bottle Beach, is 3.4 km away, and Salad Beach is further along the coast. Ko Pha-ngan has no airport, so guests usually fly into Samui Airport, 24.8 km from the resort on the neighbouring island of Ko Samui, and continue by boat.

A good day here combines the waterfall and the pagoda in the morning with an afternoon on the sand, and Bottle Beach makes a longer outing. Diamond Muay Thai, a Muay Thai gym further along the coast, suits anyone who wants to train during the stay.
