Pineapple Guesthouse

The rooms at Pineapple Guesthouse measure between 25 m² and 45 m², and capacities run up to five guests. Some look onto the courtyard and others onto the street, while several rooms have a balcony or terrace.

Depending on the room, guests can find air conditioning, a refrigerator, an in-room safe box, a flat-screen TV, satellite channels and an electric kettle. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, and where a room has a private bathroom, it comes with a shower and toiletries. Some rooms also have blackout curtains and hypoallergenic bedding, and one family room is on the ground floor.

Karon is one of the long sandy bays on Phuket's beach strip, next to Kata and Nai Harn. Karon Beach is the nearest beach to Pineapple Guesthouse, about 400 m away, and the road behind the bay has a mix of small shops, eateries and massage shops.

Kata Beach, 1.3 km away, is the neighbouring bay. Big Buddha Phuket, 1.8 km away on a hilltop, offers wide views over the island and the sea, and Chaithararam Temple, known as Wat Chalong, is 4.4 km away and is one of the island's most important Buddhist temples. Patong Beach, 5.7 km away, is the island's best-known resort beach and the centre of its nightlife, while Phuket FantaSea, a theme park with an evening show, is one of the area's better-known attractions.

A full day can start with the Big Buddha and Wat Chalong, continue with a swim at Kata or Karon, and end with an evening in Patong. Phuket is linked to the mainland by a bridge and its international airport is on the island, so getting around by car or taxi is straightforward. Both the temple and the Big Buddha are main sights of the island. Those who prefer quieter evenings can stay on the bay itself.
