Nangyuan Island, a small group of islets off Ko Tao, is known for its viewpoint and snorkelling and is reached by boat.

Reception is inside Planet Scuba, opposite the Seatran Pier. Ko Tao has no bridge, so the last part of the journey is by boat: Samui Airport is 64.8 km away on the neighbouring island of Ko Samui, the closer of the two airports, while Chumphon Airport on the mainland is 86.9 km away. A morning of diving or a boat trip to Nangyuan Island is a natural day out from Mae Haad.
