The Big Buddha, a large seated statue on a hill, is 5.1 km away, and Patong Beach, with its nightlife, is 4.6 km away. Phuket International Airport is 26.9 km from the resort, and Chalong Pier is 6.1 km away.

A day here can start at Wat Chalong and continue to the Big Buddha, or to the elephant attractions nearby, such as Bukit Elephant Park. Phuket Botanic Garden is also in the area, and the beaches of Karon and Kata can be reached by road. Chalong Pier is the departure point for boat trips to the islands around Phuket. Temples, elephants and beaches are all within a day's trip from the resort, and the island's main roads connect them, so several can be visited in one outing.
