Phuket Sunny Hostel

The rooms at Phuket Sunny Hostel include mixed dormitory rooms with bunk beds and rooms with double, twin or single beds. All of them have air conditioning and free Wi-Fi, and their sizes run from 12 to 25 m².

Most rooms have a shared bathroom with a shower and toiletries, and several have a street view. The Phuket Old Town begins about 250 m away, and the Lard Yai Sunday Night Market is about 300 m off, where stalls sell food and local goods in the evening. Wat Khachon Rangsan, a pagoda, is a short walk away, and Big Buddha Phuket sits on its hill about 10.5 km from the hostel. Patong Beach is about 10.2 km away, and Phuket International Airport is about 26.5 km by road, so the beaches and the airport need a drive.

A good day begins with a walk through the lanes of the old town, a visit to the Peranakan Museum and the Phuket Thai Hua Museum, and an evening at the Lard Yai Sunday Night Market. For a change of scene, the Big Buddha or the west coast beaches make a day trip from the hostel. Those who like to plan evenings can combine the Phuket Walking Street, a pedestrian street with shops and food stalls, with a stroll through the market.
