Phuket Muay Thai House

Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms at Phuket Muay Thai House. Alongside several garden-view rooms, the guesthouse has a 78 m² family suite with a mountain view that sleeps up to five guests, and a 48 m² room for two guests with a queen bed.

Chalong is a residential district of Phuket island, away from the nightlife of Patong and Bangla Road. The guesthouse sits on Soi Ta-Aed, off JaoFa Road, where everyday life moves at a slower pace than in the busier beach towns, and the area is known for its Buddhist temples and local markets. Phuket Botanic Garden and the Bird Park are close by.

The most important landmark nearby is Chaithararam Temple, known as Wat Chalong, a revered Buddhist temple 1.3 km away. The Big Buddha, a large white statue on a hilltop, is 4.6 km from the guesthouse, and Chalong Pier is the ferry terminal where boats leave for trips to the islands. Chalong Beach, on the shore of Chalong Bay, is 4.4 km away, and Karon and Kata beaches lie a little further on. Phuket International Airport is 29 km away, so a car or taxi is useful for getting around the island.

A good day could start at Wat Chalong, continue at the Big Buddha and end with a Muay Thai session. Several gyms are within a few hundred metres of the guesthouse, and Phuket Dragon Muay Thai is 100 m away, while Rattachai Muay Thai Gym offers day classes. Chalong's temples, pier and beaches make a full day without leaving the district, and the gyms make the evening easy to fill.
