Wat Chalong, the Chaithararam Temple, is one of the best-known temples on Phuket and lies 2.9 km away, while the Big Buddha on its hilltop stands a little further on. Chalong Beach is 800 m from the hotel, and the night market is 400 m away. A ferry terminal at Chalong Pier is close by, and the hotel offers car hire, bicycles and a shuttle service for trips further afield.

A good day could begin at Wat Chalong and the Big Buddha, continue to Kata Beach, 4.5 km away, which is generally calmer than Patong, and end back at the night market. For a livelier evening, Patong's beaches and nightlife are 9.1 km away. The Phuket Seashell Museum is also in the area, for a visit between beach days, and the island's temples and markets make a full day out.
