Sirinat National Park, which includes beaches and mangrove forest, lies close to Nai Yang and is a good place for a walk. Wat Mongkonwaram, a Buddhist temple with a pagoda, is 650 m away, and the Ni Yang Night Market is nearby for evening food and snacks. Getting around Phuket is easiest by car or taxi, as the sights are spread across the island and the main roads link them.

A good day could begin with a walk on Nai Yang Beach, then a visit to Wat Mongkonwaram and the sunset viewpoint, and finish at the Ni Yang Night Market for dinner. Families can add the Splash Jungle Water Park, which is a drive from the guesthouse, or head to the busier beaches around Patong for a longer day out.
