Phuhi Hotel

Phuhi Hotel's rooms are double, twin and triple layouts for up to six guests. The Double Room, the Twin Room and the Standard Triple Room have a private bathroom with a shower, toiletries and towels, plus a kettle, a hair dryer, a flat-screen TV and a telephone.

Several rooms are non-smoking, and the Triple Room has three single beds for up to three guests.

Phuhi Hotel is in Krabi, a town on the Andaman coast of southern Thailand, where limestone hills rise above the streets and local markets fill the mornings and evenings. Krabi is a working provincial centre rather than a resort strip, so the day here follows the rhythm of the town, with the hills and the coast nearby. The town has bus connections and ferry piers for the islands.

Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea), a hillside temple with a long staircase up the limestone, is 1.7 km away, and the Chinese Temple Chu Sae Niao is 1.5 km away. Ao Nang Beach, the main beach resort on this stretch of coast, is 14 km away, and Railay Beach, which can only be reached by boat, is 14.2 km away. Krabi International Airport is 6.5 km away.

A day could begin with the climb at Tiger Cave Temple and an early look at the fresh market, then continue to Ao Nang or take a boat from there to Railay in the afternoon. The Andaman Art Museum, a few kilometres from the hotel, is a good indoor stop. In the rainy months, boat trips to Railay and the islands can be cancelled when the sea is rough.
