Phongkaew Hotel

A ferry terminal 1.3 km away serves the route to Koh Tao, and Surat Thani Airport is 19.1 km away, so a taxi or hired car is the simplest way to reach the airport.

For a day out, Wat Phra Borommathat Chaiya Worawihan in Chaiya is a well-known temple and a worthwhile trip from Surat Thani. Surat Thani also works as a base for trips further along the coast and to the islands, with the ferry terminal close to the hotel. In the evening, the night market is the easiest place to eat near the hotel, with many stalls to choose from, and the walk to it is short.
