Kaewsamui Resort

Kaewsamui Resort offers a Double Room, a Suite and several Superior rooms. The rooms sleep up to three guests, apart from the Double Room, which sleeps two and measures 35 m² with a king bed. Several of the rooms have a window, and the Double Room also includes air conditioning and a flat-screen TV.

Tha Phet Noi is a village-style neighbourhood with houses and small shops along its roads, so the atmosphere is calm and local rather than touristy.

Wat Phothawat, a Buddhist temple 3.6 km away, and the City Pillar Shrine, 3.8 km away, are among the town's main sights, while the Surat Thani Night Market, 4.1 km away, opens in the evening with food stalls and everyday goods. Ko Lamphu Park and the Central Plaza shopping centre are also nearby, and Surat Thani Airport is 22.4 km away.

A first day could begin with the temples and the shrine, continue at Ko Lamphu Park and end at the Night Market in the evening. Surat Thani is also a departure point for boats to the islands in the Gulf, so an island trip can be added to a stay here, and the Surat Thani Railway Station, 12.7 km away, is another way to reach the town from elsewhere in the country.
