Phi Phi Sea Sky Resort

Phi Phi Sea Sky Resort has bungalows and double rooms, most of them with a double bed for two guests. Two rooms have a sea view, and some have a balcony/terrace. Bathrooms in several rooms have a shower and toiletries, and some add a separate shower/bathtub or a bathtub.

Several rooms also have a mini bar, a refrigerator and free bottled water, and some have a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. Hair dryers and towels are provided in several rooms. Across the resort, rooms can have blackout curtains, a desk and a window, and free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms.

The resort has a restaurant, a bar and room service, along with a garden of lush greenery where guests can relax between excursions. A 24-hour front desk is open, and there is a shared lounge/TV area and a terrace for guests to use.

Phi Phi Sea Sky Resort is on Ko Phi Phi, in the Hin Poo Bay area, and the resort is about 960 m from the beach. The island is reached by boat, so the last stage of every journey here is by water. Around the bay most journeys are made on foot, and longtail boats cover the longer trips. The streets near the pier are busy with small shops and stalls, and the bay has a steady flow of boats coming and going through the day.

The Koh Phi Phi Viewpoint lies 750 m away, up a climb, and gives a lookout over the bays. Ton Sai Pier is the ferry terminal, and Ton Sai Bay is nearby. Monkey Beach, 3 km away, takes its name from the monkeys that live along its shore. The nearest airport, Krabi International, is 44.9 km away on the mainland, so the last part of the trip is by boat.

A good first day starts with the walk up to the viewpoint, then a boat trip for snorkelling from the pier in the afternoon.Viking Cave, a limestone cave, is one of the island's better-known sights. In the rainy months, some boat trips may not run when the sea is rough.
