Phi Phi Paradise Hostel

Ton Sai is the main village on Ko Phi Phi, a limestone island in the Andaman Sea that is reached by boat from the mainland. Restaurants, bars and dive centres line the water in the bay, and the longtail boats to the nearby islands leave from there. The village is compact, with the pier, the restaurants and the dive centres within a few hundred metres of one another. The nearest airport is Krabi International Airport, 46 km away on the mainland.

The Ton Sai Pier, 400 m from the hostel, is where the boats from the mainland arrive. Above the village, the Koh Phi Phi Viewpoint, 850 m away, rewards a climb with views over the bay and the isthmus that joins the two halves of the island. Loh Dalum Beach lies in the next bay, and Ton Sai Beach is the village beach. Long Beach, 1.5 km away, is a longer stretch of sand on the island.

A day can begin with the climb to the viewpoint and continue by longtail boat to the beaches and caves around the bay, with Viking Cave one of the stops on those trips. Diving and fishing can also be arranged through the hostel.
