Ton Sai Pier, about 500 m off, is where boats from the mainland arrive, and the Tsunami Building, a reminder of the 2004 tsunami, is about 1 km away. Long Beach and Laem Tong Beach lie further along the island. The nearest airports are on the mainland: Krabi International Airport and Phuket International Airport.

Snorkelling and boat trips are a natural way to spend a day from here, and Monkey Beach is also close, about 1.7 km from the hotel. Viking Cave, a limestone cave on the island, is another sight worth seeing. In the monsoon months, rough seas can halt boat trips. Back at the resort, the garden and the shared lounge make a quiet place to return to after a day on the water.
