Air conditioning is fitted in every room, and most rooms look out over the sea, from the suites and bungalows to the double and triple rooms. Some rooms have a balcony or a private entrance, and each room sleeps two or three guests.

Most rooms have a private bathroom with a shower, toiletries and towels, and a fan or heating is available in several of them. Phayam Coconut Beach Resort is on Koh Phayam, an island off the Andaman coast of Ranong province. The island is reached by boat rather than by bridge, so the sea shapes the rhythm of a stay here. The resort has its own private beach, and the rest of the island has further stretches of sand. Its beaches are spread along the coast, and a motorbike is the usual way to reach them from the resort.

Ao Yai Beach lies 300 m from the resort, and the village of Ao Ko Kyu is 1.5 km away, where you can see everyday island life. Ao Khao Kwai Beach (South) is 2.6 km away, and Koh Phayam Pier, 3.7 km from the resort, is where boats from the mainland dock, so it is the first stop for anyone arriving on the island.

A good day here starts with a swim at Ao Yai Beach, continues with a motorbike ride to Ao Khao Kwai Beach, and returns to the resort's own sand in the afternoon. Hiking, fishing and windsurfing are also available for those who want more activity, and tours can be arranged. The bar and restaurant are on the property, so the evening can stay at the resort.
