Phureehut Resort

Phureehut Resort offers cottages and rooms for groups of different sizes, from a cottage for two guests to options for up to four. Rooms can have a fan, a mosquito net, a shower and toiletries, and some have a balcony or terrace.

Some rooms have a private bathroom and a private entrance, and rooms can also have a refrigerator, a dining table and towels. Guests can choose between a cottage for two and a room for up to four, depending on the size of their group.

Phureehut Resort has a restaurant, a bar, a coffee shop and room service, as well as a garden and a terrace. Free parking on site is available, and the Wi-Fi is free in all rooms and in the public areas.

Koh Phayam is an island off the coast of Ranong province in southern Thailand, and Phureehut Resort is one of its bungalow stays. The island is known for its bays and beaches, and for a relaxed pace that suits a slow holiday. Ranong on the mainland is the point of departure for the boat, so the crossing is the first part of the trip. The island has no bridge, and the sea sets the pace of getting there.

The nearest beach is Ao Khao Kwai Beach on the south side of the island, about 850 m away, and Ao Mae Mai Beach lies further along the coast at about 1.8 km. Boats from Ranong arrive at Koh Phayam Pier, about 1.9 km from the resort, so the pier is where most visitors from the mainland first set foot on the island.

A day can start on Ao Khao Kwai Beach and continue with a visit to the pier, where the boats from Ranong come in. Ao Yai Beach, about 2.3 km from the resort, is another beach to explore. Boat departures can be affected by rough sea in the rainy season, so the boat is worth checking into before you leave the resort.
