Phangan Rainbow Bungalows

The bungalows at Phangan Rainbow Bungalows measure between 27 and 42 m², and the choice runs from fan-cooled bungalows to air-conditioned ones, with hot or cold water depending on the bungalow. Several bungalows have a garden view and several have a balcony or terrace, and free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms.

Bathrooms are private in several bungalows, with a shower and toiletries, and some add a bathtub or a desk. Queen and single beds are used across the bungalows, and some offer a choice of bed set-ups. Some bungalows also include linens and a mirror, and the garden-view bungalows look out over the resort grounds.

The resort offers a private beach, a garden, massage and a bar, and there are restaurants on site as well. Breakfast is served à la carte, and bottled water and alcohol are available.

For getting around there is a shuttle service, a taxi service and car hire. Free parking is available on site, with bicycle parking too, and luggage storage and laundry service are also offered.

The resort stands on Ban Kai Beach in the Ban Tai area of Ko Pha-ngan, Thailand, a village setting with Baan Kai village and the Bulao Malayu Mosque close by. The streets around it lead to village homes and everyday local life. Around here you will find small shops and temples rather than a resort strip. Walking through the village is an easy way to spend an afternoon, with the mosque and the small temples close by.

Haad Baan Kai, 500 m from the resort, is the beach on this stretch of coast, and the village of Baan Kai sits close enough to reach on foot. Wat Pho, a Buddhist pagoda 1.5 km away, is one of the sights nearby, and the Night Market, 1.7 km away, is the place for an evening out and local food. The Biggest Yang Na Tree is a local landmark a short distance further on.

Haad Rin Nai, 3 km away, is the beach best known for its evening parties, while Thong Nai Pan Yai Beach, 8.6 km away, is a further stretch of sand worth a day out. Ko Pha-ngan has no airport, so the final part of any trip from Koh Samui or the mainland is by boat.
