Location & what to see
Perfect View Pool Villa is in the Sairee area of Ko Tao, an island in the Gulf of Thailand off the coast of Surat Thani province. Sairee is the island's main beach area, a lively strip of sand lined with dive schools, cafés and simple bars. Ko Tao is a small island, and its main beaches and viewpoints are all within a few kilometres of Sairee.
The Sairee Viewpoint is 250 m away and gives a lookout over the bay, and Ao Tanote Beach, a quieter bay, is 1.4 km away. Haad Sairee, the beach itself, is 1.2 km away, and Koh Nang Yuan, a small islet reached by boat, is a popular spot for snorkelling. Getting to the island means a boat, since neither airport is on Ko Tao: Samui Airport is on Ko Samui and Chumphon Airport is on the mainland.
A good day starts at the viewpoint above Sairee, followed by a walk to Haad Sairee for the afternoon. Boat trips to Koh Nang Yuan depend on the sea, which can change from one day to the next, so it is worth planning the trip around the weather at sea. The viewpoint is only 250 m from the property, so it makes an easy first stop before heading down to the beach.
