Taoruna Villas

All the villas at Taoruna Villas share air conditioning, a full kitchen and a kitchenette, and each one has a private bathroom with a shower and toiletries. The property is set up as a group of villas, so each one has its own layout and its own features.

Guests can choose between a mountain view, with a private entrance, and a sea view, with a balcony or terrace and a private pool. Both villas sleep up to six guests and include a coffee and tea maker, so guests can settle in on arrival.

The grounds include an outdoor swimming pool, a garden and a terrace, and family rooms are available. Non-smoking rooms are offered, and rooms can have a private pool or direct pool access.

Daily housekeeping is provided, and laundry service, dry cleaning and ironing are offered, with food delivery available as well. Rooms can also have an in-room safe box, a desk, a sofa, a clothes rack, a coffee and tea maker and individual air conditioning, and baby cots are available on request.

Free parking and free Wi-Fi in all rooms are offered, and internet access is available in public areas too. The languages offered are English, French, German and Thai.

Sairee is the main beach area on Ko Tao, a small island in the Gulf of Thailand that is well known for diving. Its sandy beach is lined with dive schools, cafés and small restaurants.Taoruna Villas is about 730 m from the beach, within the same Sairee area, so the sea is an easy trip from the property, and the villas are set around a garden with a swimming pool.

Koh Nang Yuan, a group of three small islets linked by sandbars, lies 3.8 km away and is a popular day trip by boat. Ao Tanot Bay, a quiet bay with clear water for snorkelling, is 1.6 km away, and the Sairee Viewpoint, a lookout over the coastline, is close by. The nearest airport is Samui Airport on Koh Samui, 65.2 km away, and the final stretch to Ko Tao is made by boat.

A typical day can combine a dive or snorkelling trip from Sairee with a walk to the Sairee Viewpoint and an afternoon at Ao Tanot Bay. Evenings are spent in the cafés and restaurants of the beach area, a short distance from the villas, while Koh Nang Yuan makes a full day out for those who want to go further from the beach.
