Patong Beach is 450 m away, and Bangla Road, the street of bars and clubs that gives the district its nightlife, runs close by. Jungceylon Shopping Center is 500 m away, a large mall where you can shop and eat. Further afield, Freedom Beach is 3.5 km away, and Chaithararam Temple, known as Wat Chalong, is 6.8 km away, one of the most revered temples on the island, reached by road from Patong.

A good day could start on Patong Beach, continue to Wat Chalong, and finish with an evening on Bangla Road. The Big Buddha statue on its hilltop is a popular stop for views over the island. Phuket International Airport is 23.9 km away, and the trip from the airport is by road across the island.
