Paripas Patong Resort

The rooms at Paripas Patong Resort range from 32 m² to 88 m², and some of them have a mountain, city or pool view. Rooms can have individual air conditioning, an electric kettle, a refrigerator, blackout curtains, an in-room safe and a hair dryer.

The 88 m² family room and the 56 m² suite both have a mountain view and a bathtub, and some rooms have a balcony or terrace and a window that opens. Several rooms have a private bathroom with a shower and a hair dryer, and the Deluxe rooms and the twin room are among the rooms with a city or pool view.

The outdoor swimming pool is joined by a children's swimming pool, a fitness centre and a solarium, and there is a bar and a poolside bar. Guests can also use the shared lounge and TV area, the salon and the gift and souvenir shop.

Guests can go diving, snorkelling, canoeing or windsurfing, and tours can be arranged. Food is served as a buffet, à la carte, Asian or continental breakfast, with a coffee shop on site and food and grocery delivery.

Free parking is on site, Wi-Fi is free in all rooms, and the resort has a 24-hour front desk, an elevator, daily housekeeping and laundry service. It is also wheelchair accessible, and there is an airport transfer.

Patong is one of the best-known beach towns on Phuket, a lively strip of bars, restaurants, massage shops and street-food stalls along the beach road. Paripas Patong Resort sits in the town itself, about 350 m from Patong Beach, so the sand and the sea are a short walk away. The beach, the nightlife and the shops are all in the same town.

Bangla Road is the best-known street for nightlife in Patong, and the Dragon Night Market, Malin Plaza Patong and Jungceylon Shopping Center are all nearby, with street food and shopping in the evening. Further afield, Chaithararam Temple (Wat Chalong) is one of the most revered temples on the island, and the Big Buddha Phuket, a large white Buddha statue on a hilltop, is 6.8 km away. The temple, at 6.3 km, and the Buddha are best reached by car or taxi, while the beach and the shops can be reached on foot.

A typical day can start with a walk along Patong Beach, continue with a drive to Wat Chalong and the Big Buddha, and end with dinner at the night market. Karon Beach and Kata Beach are also reachable by car, and tours can be arranged through the resort for trips further afield. Phuket International Airport is 25.1 km away. Boat trips from Patong can be affected by rough seas during the rainy season, roughly May to October.
