Paresa Resort Phuket

The accommodation at Paresa Resort Phuket is built around pool villas, spa pool suites and two-bedroom suites, many of them with an ocean view. Several rooms have a bathtub and a private bathroom, and some add open-air bath privileges or an additional toilet. The two-bedroom suite with a private pool welcomes up to six guests.

Rooms can have air conditioning, a hair dryer, bathrobes, an electric kettle, a mini bar, an in-room safe, a balcony or terrace, and direct pool access. Rooms can also have a walk-in shower, a sofa, a seating area and a separate dining area. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms.

Paresa Resort Phuket sits in Kamala, a beach village on the Andaman coast of Phuket, where the bays and local markets set the pace more than the nightlife of Patong does. Life here is built around the sea, with small beaches, seafood markets and temples close together. It is a practical place for a beach holiday that includes trips across the island, with the airport and the bus and minibus stations all reached by road.

Yae Beach and Nakalay Beach are the nearest beaches to the resort, at 900 m and 1.3 km, and Kamala Beach is also close by. Pang Chang elephant farm offers a chance to meet elephants, and Phuket FantaSea is a cultural theme park with evening shows. Kamala Night Market is a good place for an evening stroll, and Patong, the island's best-known beach town, is reached by road for a night out.

Phuket International Airport (HKT) is 20.4 km from the resort, and an airport transfer is offered. For a full day, combine a morning on Yae Beach with a visit to the elephants at Pang Chang and an evening at Kamala Night Market, then head to Patong for nightlife. The Big Buddha and Chaithararam Temple (Wat Chalong) are further afield, better planned as a separate excursion.
