Papillon Resort

The rooms at Papillon Resort are bungalows, suites and a deluxe double, with either a garden view or a sea view. Room sizes go up to 75 m², and the beds include king, queen and double beds, with rooms for two to four guests. Some bed set-ups vary by room, so the choice depends on how many people are travelling and which view you want.

Papillon Resort is in the Bophut area of Koh Samui, an island in the Gulf of Thailand off the coast of Surat Thani province. Bophut is known for its fishing village and for the sandy beaches along this part of the island, and the resort's garden and sea-view rooms are a short stroll from the sand.

Nora Beach is 500 m from the resort, and the Vishnu on Sheshnag statue is 800 m away, a large Hindu statue of Vishnu reclining on a serpent. Samui Airport is on the island, 1.7 km from Papillon Resort, and the Samui Crocodile Farm is 1.7 km away too. Chaweng Yai Beach is a short drive along the island's roads, and the Samui Elephant Sanctuary Bophut is a sanctuary caring for elephants.

A good day could begin at Nora Beach, followed by a visit to the Vishnu on Sheshnag statue and the Samui Crocodile Farm, then an afternoon at Chaweng Yai Beach. Taxis and car hire make it easy to reach the beaches and sights, and the resort offers an airport transfer, which covers the short trip from Samui Airport, only 1.7 km away. Nora Beach is the closest of these, so it makes a natural first stop.
