The rooms at Panorama Tubkaek Krabi Beach Resort by PCL run from 30 m² Superior Rooms with a garden view to the 85 m² Jacuzzi Villa Pool Access, which has a balcony or terrace. The islands and the Railay peninsula are reached by boat from the coast, so a sea trip is a separate outing from the resort. The sand right by the resort is quieter than the busier bays further along the coast, where most of the boat departures are.

Tup Kaek Beach is the nearest beach, 150 m from the resort, and the Khao Ngon Nak Viewpoint, also known as Dragon Crest Mountain, is 650 m away, with views over the coast. Ao Nang Beach, a beach town with boat tours, is 10 km away, and Krabi International Airport lies 25.8 km away. Railay Beach, with its limestone cliffs and reached only by longtail boat, is 13.1 km away.

A good day can start with a boat trip from Ao Nang to Railay or to the Hong Islands. Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea) is a hillside temple complex with caves and a long staircase, and Emerald Pool is a spring-fed pool in the forest further away. Boat trips can be cancelled when the sea is rough, which is more common in the rainy season.
