Railay Beach, 5.2 km away, is a limestone peninsula reached mainly by longtail boat, with Phra Nang Cave among its beaches. Phra Nang Cave is one of the best-known beaches on the peninsula, and the limestone cliffs rise above the water on each side. Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea) is a hilltop temple 11.2 km away, with a long climb to the top.

A day could combine a boat trip to Railay or to the islands, such as Poda Island, with an afternoon at Tiger Cave Temple. Boat trips can be cancelled when the sea is rough, which happens more often in the rainy months.
