The resort is 650 m from Noppharathara Beach, the closest stretch of sand, and the wider Ao Nang area mixes beach life with evening markets. In the evening the town comes alive, with the night market and the restaurants along the main road drawing visitors back from the sand.

The Ao Nang Night Market is 300 m away, and Ao Nang Beach, the town's main beach, is a little further along the shore. Railay Beach, 3.7 km away, is reached by longtail boat from Ao Nang, while Krabi International Airport is 18.9 km away by road. The Tiger Cave Temple, known as Wat Tham Suea, is 14.7 km away and has a hilltop shrine reached by a long climb.

A day could begin on Noppharathara Beach, continue at the night market in the evening, and include a boat trip to Poda or Tup island, both reached from Ao Nang. Poda and Tup are limestone islands with beaches, and both are common day trips from the pier. Both islands make a full day out of a stay in Ao Nang.
