Palita Lodge

The rooms at Palita Lodge sleep up to three guests, and each has a private bathroom with a shower, a hair dryer and toiletries. Wi-Fi is free in all rooms, and the views are of the garden, the pool or the beach, depending on the room. Some rooms also have air conditioning.

The suites have garden views and measure 42 and 52 m², and the villas and the bungalow have garden or pool views. The Garden View Bungalow also has a balcony or terrace, and several rooms come with a flat-screen TV, a kettle or a minibar. Bed arrangements differ between rooms, so the room you book sets the sleeping arrangement.

Palita Lodge has an indoor and an outdoor swimming pool, a children's swimming pool, a garden and a terrace, with the beach 30 m away. Parking on site is free, and the resort has an elevator.

The restaurant, bar and coffee shop serve food and drinks, with room service and food delivery also offered, and a breakfast takeaway service is available. Daily housekeeping, laundry service and dry cleaning are offered, along with safety deposit boxes and currency exchange.

Concierge and ticket services are available, and tours, diving, snorkelling and non-motorised water sports can be arranged. Billiards are offered, and English and Thai are spoken. A shuttle service and a taxi service are also offered.

Haad Rin is a lively beach village on Ko Pha-ngan, with a broad sandy bay and a busy evening scene. Palita Lodge sits close to the sea, with its garden and pool on site, so the beach and the village are a short walk away.

The Full Moon Party takes place on the beach each month when the moon is full, and Haad Rin Nok is one of the nearby beaches for a swim and a sunset walk along the sand. The Haad Rin Queen ferry terminal is 750 m away for boat connections, and Thong Nai Pan Yai Beach, a calmer stretch of sand, is 10 km away.

Samui Airport is 14.5 km away on Ko Samui, and the last part of the journey to Ko Pha-ngan is by boat. Crossings can be rougher in the wet months, so it is worth allowing time for the transfer. For a day out, the quieter beach at Thong Nai Pan Yai makes a good trip from the village, with the Haad Rin beaches for the evening. The village has a compact street of bars and food stalls that comes alive after dark, a short walk from the resort's gardens and pools, and the mix of sand and nightlife is what gives Haad Rin its character.
