Pakta Phuket

The rooms at Pakta Phuket sleep two or three guests. The Superior Double or Twin Room measures 20 m², and the Deluxe Double or Twin Room measures 25 m² with a city view. Both offer a choice of bed set-ups.

Rooms can come with air conditioning, heating, a shower with toiletries and a hair dryer, and some have flat-screen TV or satellite and cable channels. Guests can also order room service from the property.

It is a town stay rather than a beach stay, and staying here means a quieter base than the busy beach resorts, which are a drive away on the island's west coast.

Wat Khao Rang, a hillside temple, is 700 m away, and the viewpoint on the same hill looks out over the town. Chillva Market, a local market with a seafood section, is 1.2 km away, and the Baan Chinpracha museum, housed in a Sino-Portuguese mansion, is nearby. Phuket Old Town is 1.9 km away and is the best place to walk among the Sino-Portuguese streets.

Patong Beach is 9.4 km away, with its restaurants and nightlife, and Phuket International Airport is 24.9 km away, so a car or taxi is useful for the beaches and the airport. A good day could start with the morning at Wat Khao Rang, continue in the old town and its museums, and on a Sunday end at the Lard Yai Sunday Night Market.
