P. P. Erawan Palms Resort

Accommodation at P. P. Erawan Palms Resort is made up of bungalows and villas, with garden, pool and mountain views. Rooms can have air conditioning, a private bathroom with a walk-in shower, a hair dryer, toiletries, a mini bar and a refrigerator, and some rooms have a balcony or terrace.

Laem Tong Beach is a village beach on Ko Phi Phi, the limestone island in the Andaman Sea that is reached by ferry from Krabi and Phuket. The beach is 50 m from the resort, and the village of Haad Laem Thong is a short distance away. Most of the island's bays and beaches are reached by longtail boat rather than on foot, so day trips around the island are usually made by sea.

Ton Sai Bay, 4.6 km away, is the island's main village, with the ferry pier and a busy stretch of shops and restaurants. The Phi Phi viewpoint, 4 km away, is the classic lookout over the narrow isthmus between the two bays, and Monkey Beach, 6 km away, is known for its long-tailed macaques. The Laem Thong Pier is close to the resort for boat connections, and the island's bays are best explored by boat, so a longtail trip gives the most variety for a day.

A good day could begin at the viewpoint and continue by longtail boat to Ao Maya, the bay used as a filming location for the film The Beach, on the neighbouring island of Phi Phi Leh. In the rainy season, rough seas can cancel boat trips.
