OYO 75530 By the dam cafe and farmstay

The rooms are set up with a double bed or with two single beds, depending on the room. They include 12 m² doubles and twins with mountain views, and 25 m² rooms that sleep up to three guests.

The rooms can have air conditioning, a private bathroom with a shower and toiletries, a seating area, a mirror and a socket near the bed. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, and daily housekeeping is offered at the property.

Guests can park for free at the property, and the front desk is staffed 24 hours a day. The garden is one of the main features, with winding paths, flowers and shaded seating for a morning coffee or a book. Luggage storage and daily housekeeping are offered, and there is a fireplace on the property. The hotel is smoke-free, and the garden is open to guests as a place to sit and relax.

Breakfast is offered à la carte or as a continental breakfast, with a breakfast service on site. For work and entertainment, the property has internet access, a laptop workspace and satellite and cable channels, and Wi-Fi is available in public areas as well as in the rooms.

The property is in the Plaipraya area of Krabi province, a rural part of southern Thailand where farmland and hills surround the grounds and the pace is slower than on the coastal resort strips. The garden is a large part of what the property offers, and the surroundings feel quiet and rural rather than like a beach resort. The hills nearby give the area its quiet, rural feel.

Several of Krabi's best-known places are a longer journey away. Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea), a hillside temple with a long climb to a hilltop shrine, is 44.7 km away. The Hong Islands, reached by boat, are 17.4 km off. Ao Nang, the beach resort area, is 53.1 km away, and Railay, reached by longtail boat, is 55.4 km. Krabi International Airport is 49.3 km away.

A day could combine the Krabi Elephant Sanctuary, which is also nearby, with a boat trip to the Hong Islands or an afternoon at Ao Nang or Railay. Boats to the islands can be stopped by rough seas, which is more likely in the rainy season, so the sea conditions often shape the plan for the day. Guests who drive can park for free at the property before heading out, and the garden makes a quiet finish to a day out.
