OYO 586 I Hostel

Most of the rooms at OYO 586 I Hostel are dormitories, with bunk beds in mixed rooms and a few rooms for two guests. Several dormitories have air conditioning and a shared bathroom, and free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms.

The old streets are compact enough to explore on foot, with markets and shophouses side by side. The resort strips and their nightlife are a drive away.

Thawisaman Market is 300 m away and the Phuket Butterfly Garden & Insect World is 650 m away, while Wat Sam Kong, a pagoda, sits a little further off. Chillva Market is known for its seafood, and Chaithararam Temple, also called Wat Chalong, is one of the island's best-known temples. Bangkok Phuket hospital is also close by, 1.4 km away.

Make a day of it by starting in the markets and old streets, then heading for the coast. Patong Beach is 8 km away, and Big Buddha Phuket, on Nakkerd Hill, has views across the island. Phuket International Airport is 23 km away, and guests who come by car can use the free parking on site.
