A good day could begin at the City Pillar Shrine, continue along the river at the Tapee River Viewpoint, and end at the Night Market for dinner. Most of them are within 1,000 m of the hotel, so the centre of town can be explored from one base. For a trip further afield, Wat Phra Borommathat Chaiya Worawihan, a historic temple in Chaiya, is reached by road, while the boats to Koh Tao leave from the ferry terminal.
